Just logged on and just watched a minute of news. So Gates came back after the break and extracted his foot from his mouth with regard to his comment that we aren't winning the war in Iraq?

I despise this man and wish Dubya had not chosen him to be SecDef.

IMO, he can't shine one of Rumsfeld's shoes.
