My English mother married a US citizen..but she did not become a citizen just by marying him..she had to go to classes and she had to take a citizenship test..then she had to take an oath of citizenship. Where did you ever learn that citizens are automatic if they marry US citizens?
A friend of mine married a Brazilian girl. She's gorgeous, has 3 degrees and speaks 7 languages. They had a hell of a time getting her into the country legally. I told him if she were infected with AIDS or was indigent or both citizenship would be automatic......
