"It will be a lesson that will last for generations. They will not be loyal to the democratic party either. The only party they are a member of is la rasa."

History doesn't bear that out. When President Reagan granted amnesty to 3 million illegals in 1986, we now know that about 44% of them voted for Bush in 2004 and 53% of them voted for Kerry but only 38% of them voted for Republicans last month. The Mexican born Latino share of the electorate is increasing with each election and the folks who vote are not about to support a political party that will send their illegal parents and grandparents back to Mexico.
I'm not endorsing it, I'm just tyring to explain the political equation.

Guess we're past the tipping point. Hispanics now officially have enough political clout to thwart any attempt to preserve our sovereignty, language, and culture.

Now we're just running out the clock.

And while life in the post-USA Amerexico might be tolerable, I'm not sure we'll even get there. The lethal side product of our permanently open borders will be a concomitant accelerated influx of Islam, making even our current PC-hobbled anti-terrorist measures politically unsustainable.

I understand what you are saying and I do respect your opinion. Perhaps my frustration with this subject is turning a bit negative and maybe it's time for me to talk about something else since my objectivity has been clouded by what I feel.

However, amnesty is still an affront to those who actually respect and abide by the laws of this great land. I just can't seem to excuse it whom ever is doing the amnesty.

Also, one is assuming that the new illegals have the same intentions as the ones from 20 years ago. I don't remember seeing demonstrations and so many Mexican flags back in the early 80's. Also, communist socialist ideologies are now much stronger in the Latino world.

Please remember, past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Respectfully,
SQ
