"Woof!" (Daddy will have to translate this for me.)

"Greetings to your cat. I am a rescue dog. I am a princess too! But I am a working dog. I drive away squirrels and hippopotamuses, and I dance for my supper, and I make Daddy laugh. A lot. I will wag like crazy when you come to see us. Wooooooof!!"

Our cat says "woof" back. Poor thing when a tiny kitten on our doorstep was raised with our two dogs. He never understood he was not a dog, actually gives out a little bark when demanding my attention. Back when our dogs were protecting our abode and would run down the driveway to greet/confront visitors, the kitten would run along between them, meowling his best imitation of a bark. He still is a kitten, sort of permanently. We clipped his tomcathood just a little early.
