We consume 21 pounds of coal per day yet give off a measly 400 btu per hour? That's so inefficient, it's obvious that humans are black holes, sucking up energy and causing global cooling.

I hardly need tell you, this is a global catastrophe. The seas will recede and we'll have no harbors. WHERE ARE WE GOING TO DOCK CRUISE SHIPS??? The oceans will shrink. Our coasts will move out further and further. We won't have any beaches. No beach blanket bingo. No girls in bikinis playing beach volleyball. Worse, how will we get out to floating casino ships beyond the 12-mile limit if the coast keeps moving out to the 12-mile limit with us?

I can't see any good coming of this unless global cooling can stop global warming. But that's doubtful. We'll get both.

Lollipop, Lollipop, by the Chordettes, co-written by Julius Dixon is a tune many of us more mature folk remember from youth. It is mostly forgotten, but not so much as Julius Dixon who now even is excised from the news. New York Post published this story. Thanks, LesforLife.

January 29, 2007 -- The songwriter of the '50s pop hit "Lollipop" starved to death at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan - where doctors and nurses brushed off complaints that he needed his missing dentures to eat, a shocking lawsuit claims.

Julius Dixson Sr. "was wasting away in their hospital, and, essentially, they did nothing to stop that," said Mitchel Ashley, a lawyer representing co-executors of Dixson's estate in their Manhattan Supreme Court suit against St. Luke's and two doctors.
