That's a silly question. You've been around long enough to know they would. You won't see any of them over on that thread, talking about how uplifting this story is. If they show up at all, it will be to mock.

If the news media and the courts said this disabled person should die, they would believe it. That's the 10 % club for you.

Just so. As G.K. Chesterton observed, so usefully: for those who will not believe in God, the danger is not that they will believe in nothing, but that they will believe in anything. We witness that every day.

Orwell and others have made a very similar observation that there are some things so stupid or ridiculous, only an intellectual will believe them. And indeed, there is practically no theory too bizarre to find favor in the coffee houses and universities. These are not the people you want on your side in a fire fight, or in a survival test, or using heavy machinery, or working a farm. They are not people you want on your team for thinking, either.
