Most travelers are not aware of the fact that major airports in North America have very quiet and secluded non-denominational chapels available somewhere in the terminal. Anyone is welcome to use them in peace with no disruption to other travelers. In Seattle, the chapel is located upstairs on the second level and quite easily accessible 24/7. So as you suggest in the headline, they're up to something. And it ain't freedom of religion.

A hmmmm is appropriate considering the current flight was also headed to Phoenix. Wonder why Phoenix is such a popular destination of the ROP? One of the 911 hijackers did his 747 flight training in Phx too, iirc. He was reported by a local FBI agent, but it wasn't deemed important by the powers that be.

I plan on putting a giant "Miss Piggy" doll in our "meditaton chapel" at the Phoenix airport my next trip in.

Those camel jockey's best get the message that we don't want them here.

"You know, even then I don't think they'll get it. Western journalists and cultures are so wrapped up in a "we are the guilty ones" mentality, they'll find something to explain it away."

They truly have a mental disorder. Unbelievable.

It seems that our enemy knows us better than we know ourselves. The PC/ACLU crowd is handing this nation over to the enemy, one litigation at a time. They have discovered where our true weakness lies.

If one of these fools acts up on a flight I'm on, he's going down. I am a white knuckle flyer on a clear day, in the best of conditions. If they play this b.s. around me, the survival instinct will take over. It's an involuntary reflex.

Please see my post #126. It really scares me to think of what I could have done to them if they misbehaved when the flight was airborne. I am not kidding at all. I am not a violent person, but it would not have been pretty.

Someone could have been seriously hurt.

I'll try again, it was probably just getting a lot of hits and straining the bandwidth.

So, where are these "IMAMS" now? Were they arrested? Interrogated? WHAT? Are we serious, or are we not serious?

WASHINGTON --Justice Stephen G. Breyer says the Supreme Court must promote the political rights of minorities and look beyond the Constitution's text when necessary to ensure that "no one gets too powerful."

Breyer, a Clinton appointee who has brokered many of the high court's 5-4 rulings, spoke in a televised interview that aired one day before justices hear a key case on race in schools. He said judges must consider the practical impact of a decision to ensure democratic participation.

"We're the boundary patrol," Breyer said, reiterating themes in his 2005 book that argue in favor of race preferences in university admissions because they would lead to diverse workplaces and leadership.

"It's a Constitution that protects a democratic system, basic liberties, a rule of law, a degree of equality, a division of powers, state, federal, so that no one gets too powerful," said Breyer, who often votes with a four-member liberal bloc of justices.

Breyer argued that in some cases it wouldn't make sense to strictly follow the Constitution because phrases such as "freedom of speech" are vague. Judges must look at the real-world context -- not focus solely on framers' intent, as Scalia has argued -- because society is constantly evolving, he said.

"Those words, 'the freedom of speech,' 'Congress shall pass no law abridging the freedom of speech' -- neither they, the founders, nor those words tell you how to apply it to the Internet," Breyer said.

The last time I checked yelling 'fire' in a crowded movie theater or calling in a bomb threat to a school with the goal of scaring the people was considered a form of terrorism.

Is PC forcing us to go soft?

Until there are adverse and accepted consequences for people to do such things, this great country will continue to go down the $hitter. It doesn't matter if they were imams or blue-haired Joy Bus riders: Instruments intended to ensure freedom, are perverted into vehicles for the exact opposite. Everyone says, "shuck, that's not right," but recall the contingent of Freepers responding to the reclining airplane chair topic.
