- I cannot agree that the "evil genius" Rove has suddenly morphed into the designated scapegoat for the lack of Republican success in the last election.
In my books it was due mainly to the pathetic Republican leadership in both Houses. They lacked Newts forceful ability to herd cats that he showed when he was running things.
That fact, combined with the MSM, which kept up a constant barrage of negative and biased reporting that did it's best to distort issues and suppress Republican voter turnout was the second factor that effected the outcome.
Judging by the tone of most postings here, the MSM succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.
