I'm not sure about the birth of Jesus story you mentioned, but I do know what the Koran says about Jesus and His death. The Koran states that Jesus did NOT die on the cross---in fact, He was never on the cross. "Allah" put someone on the cross who looked like Jesus. In other words, according to Islamic belief, Jesus did not die on the cross, thus he didn't rise from the dead as payment for our sins. His payment for our sins is the ABSOLUTE backbone of the Christian faith.
Pretty hard to reconcile the two views, huh? As for me, I'll stick with Jesus. The Bible says, "You shall know them by their fruits"---show me anything good that has come from Islam.
