You used up any consideration when you advocated government control of other people's lives.
You are inflicting on others what your parents inflicted on you to try heal your younger self.
Leave us alone!
Statism isn't a political view; it's a personality disorder.
Yeah, well. Not necessarily a "bad childhood." I had an AMAZING childhood. But...
My dad smokes wherever...including in the car. Do you think I have say? No. Do you think there is anything I can do about it? No. I can't legally drive. I need him to take me place. If I've told him once that I don't want him smoking with me in the car, I've told him a thousand times. You think he did it when I was in a carseat? Definitely.
I don't want him smoking around me now, and I wouldn't have wanted it then either, had I known and understood the health hazards. I don't like the idea of him getting in trouble for it, but I also don't like the idea of lung cancer, thank you very much.
You too: Don't use the government to take out your personal problems on us!
It's sick and wrong!

Oh please. It's the problem of thousands, if not millions of children throughout the country.
I'm not saying I love this law...I definitely don't. I know that parents have legal control over their children and they should be allowed to smoke with them in the car. But think of those kids for two seconds, and then maybe you'll see that that law does have at least an ounce of a point to it.
