Thank you for your reply on reapportionment projections. since asking for that link I found a few of my own. I thought it odd that the one you had did not show losses in Michigan. But here is another one below.

One thing, though, Louisiana is clearly losing a seat. They were barely holding on to their 7th seat before Katrina hit.

Based on that map I can see us gaining at least 8 seats after redistricting in 2010 (and as many solid electoral votes for 2012).
