in spite of how much she must have embarrassed her parents/family/tribe at that time, i think she, TOO, made a real DIFFERENCE! furthermore, i think she made a difference to a LOT of young women, even now.
i think of my Aunt Hattie's comment to me, about 30 years ago: "There is so much bad in the best of us & so much good in the worst of us, you can't tell who's who, without a play-list. history will judge just what her legacy is."

Being in the PGR has brought great rewards to me..
It has also brought me taunts of being a Warmonger..
and so on.
No matter..
I have never backed down to anyone, nor will I.
And neither did your Grandma!
