The GOP is not winning over the majority of the people with this same old same old.

Uh...the GOP did not win over the majority of the people because it became fat and arrogant and abandoned the same old same old. Human nature doesn't change, and neither do the time tested principles of governance and human aspiration. Recognition of these truths is what conservatism is all about after all, and it works (almost) every time it is actually tried.

Times change. The GOP needs to be smart enough to present new ideas applicable to the times we are in.

There are ideas that need to be preserved and cherished and there are challenges that require new ideas. The winning party will be the one to figure that out and have candidates who are attractive, articulate, civil and trustworthy.
