>>>>I did not criticize Newt ....
In post #114, you opined on the fact that since no one has posted what Newt's postions are, perhaps what Newt has to say about the issues is something akin to being a Democrat. Remember?
>>>>Not a single post seems to state what these "briliant" ideas of Newt's are. Perhaps someone who has read his writings closely could inform us. If it is not possible from his writings and appearances to elucidate what these ideas are isn't that like the Democrats?
Ridicule is criticism. It just happens to be a cheap, backhanded form of criticism.
>>>>Your earnest advocacy ssems to have prevented you from reading what I posted and reacting to it with information.
I think you better upgrade your own reading comprehension skills. I did react to your post with information. I gave you a link to Newt.org. Obviously you haven't found the time to get over to Newt's website yet, and learn what his policy and political positions are all about.
Instead of wasting time engaging in ridicule, try getting informed. Without blaming others for your shortcomings.
Do you not understand the word "if?" Again, it is not I who is being "smart alecky." I used no words or phrases like and have not leveled any cheap insults on you as you do on me, apparently with a complete ignorance that I and others working with me have made our views known on this forum as well as many prominent conservative web publications.
Let me ask you this: I read Newt's website material and still am unaware what he proposes to create energy independence other than some references to getting out of our dependence on oil, which by and of itself does not tell us much. If you believe that he has a meaningful and comprehensive approach to energy independence, could you point us to it?
