I thought that condoms were too porous to prevent virii from passing through them.

Liberal dogma is that condoms make you safe and that any science-based argument to the contrary is dogmatic foolishness.

Yep, they are.

About 10 years ago, the U.S. Naval Laboratory did tests on condoms and latex gloves--even in products that passed FDA guidelines.

The holes found in the condoms ranged from 5-70 microns in diameter--in comparison, the HIV virus is a tenth of a micron in diameter.

In short, while condoms can reduce the spread of diseases caused by larger particles (e.g. syphilis), viruses pass through them so easily--imagine shooting a .22 or a BB through a cargo net...

There's also the slip, rip & drip factor. And certain --- uh, practices which work againt the normal direction of ---certain muscles, which result in a higher degree of--uh, wear and tear.
