I don't think there is any question that if Tancredo runs as a 3rd party, he will take more than 3% and less than 10%. 75% of that will be from the Republican nominee. That will ensure a Democrat victory.

Whose fault will this be? Well, not Tancredo's really. He is just playing a role that is entirely predictible. The fault will lie with those who ignored what every good poll will tell you is the second most important issue on the minds of voters in fly over country, second only to WOT (and actually inseparable from that, if you think about it).

I'm not nearly as hawkish as Tom on the border. But I have a hard time getting mad at him. He's just doing his deal and responding to a real crisis in big government/corporate Republicanism brought to us by GWB and many others.

If the GOP loses b/c of his 3rd party run, we only have ourselves to blame.

This isn't about the WND or politics. It's about the NWO/NAU/UN world government. You really want the UN deciding what's best for you and yours?

Right: Lets go back to 2000... A Pat Buchanan (or similar 3rd party) candidacy is the ONLY WAY Gore can win in '00.

Tancredo will never get more than 3/8 of one percent of the total votes.

The main stream media will destroy Tancredo. They will treat him like a bad racist joke. After the media is through with Tancredo he could not get a majority of votes from the KLU KLUX KLAN... let alone normal human beings.

LOL! He will get 10 times the vote pat buchanan got in 2000, while buchanan had $12,000,000 in taxpayers money to play with(from the Reform Party).

What do you smoke in the morning?

Tom misread the plan: We want to ANNEX Canada, and kick the French Canadians down to Mexico....

Uh that according to your own rhetoric on FR, that Ronald Reagan is an OBL "free traitor".

Please quote my FR rhetoric where I said that Ronald Reagan was an OBL free traitor.

"He will get 10 times the vote pat buchanan got in 2000"

That's exactly what I said, moron. Pat got north of 400,000 votes, or about .4%. If Tancredo gets 4 million votes, as you say he will (ten times what Pat got), that will be right around the 3% that I said would be his low.

Glad you agree with me. LOL!

And if you look at Mexican election standards, such as showing an ID to vote, they are miles ahead of the US.

I've never agreed with you more:) Mexico requires an ID dedicated just to voting which has the holder's thumbprint on it. Mexico also requires that a child have a Mexican mother to become a citizen by birth. Atleast with a merger, we'd get land out of the deal. The way things are now, we just keep the same land but add more and more people to our population.

Uh no, Ronald Reagan's speech as posted in reply #14 of this thread by AU, is what would make Ronald Reagan an OBL"free traitor", per your your previous rhetoric on FR.

Dane's at it again, eh? Trying to paint anyone who is against open borders as a nut job?

It is my hope that this will finally put to bed the nutcase that is Tom Tancredo. We get one of these folks every 10 years or so, who is actually just like a Louis Farrakan, but for the Right.

He has mastered the art of saying just enough sensible things to get noticed, and only later do you discover that he is just another wack-job in the mode of Ross Perot, Pat Buchanan and others.

There will be FReepers who follow him in lockstep because of the few common sense comments he makes, and will ignore their own unease when he goes off the reservation into idiocy.

Whenever there is a leadership void, people leap and nuts like Tancredo out of desperation and anger. This is how the left adopted Howard Dean early on.

Wake up FReepers, Tancredo is a stopped-clock nutjob.

Right: Lets go back to 2000... A Pat Buchanan (or similar 3rd party) candidacy is the ONLY WAY Gore can win in '00.

That is not a very good example.

Gore didn't win. By saying that "Buchanan is the only way Gore could win" is like saying "he drastically improves his otherwise poor chances." Pat may have drastically improved Gore's chances but it still wasn't enough.

What I am saying about Hillary is that if she runs against 1 conservative Republican she has no chance of victory. If she runs against 1 moderate Repub and 1 conservative 3rd party she has a moderate chance.

I loath Mrs. Clinton. I don't want to see her have any chance.

Whatever DD(ACLU rhetoric user).

You(DD) are well known for your rhetoric(i.e Tancredo/J.D. Hayworth harshness) on FR.

Using trial lawyerly spin tactics, ain't going to work, dude.

Proposal for new FR terminology:

"Stopped-Clocker"

-A politician or pundit who makes enough sensible comments to gain a following, then later reviles him/her self to be an idiot, villain, conspiracy theorist, or incompetent.

Notable examples would be:

Pat Buchanan
Ross Perot
Tom Tancredo
Bill Frist
Elizabeth Dole
Katherine Harris(sorry)
