I went to pick up our turkey at a local farm on Monday. There was a barn full of young turkeys - at least a thousand - who had no idea they were going to get the ax between now and Christmas!

Before we retired, my husband raised turkeys.
They are really interesting birds. So smart ..... yet so stupid. LOL
Now most turkey are white but I'm partial to the dark ones.
