A. The Bush twins in the military... isn't this a DUmmie argument? They aren't going to send the Bush girls to Iraq because having them there would further endanger their unit and all American troops there.

B. It wasn't like Barbara got extra drunk and was stumbling out of a bar before her purse got snatched. It seems like she was eating dinner with friends in Argentina (a relatively safe country). She probably put her purse under the table while at dinner and it got lifted very quickly. When I was in Spain a few years back, I left my passport in a cab, which I guess makes me a delinquent as well.

Back in WWII Franklin Roosevelt's sons served in the military. You'd think, in the war on terror, the president's children could do the same if they wanted.
