If this is the normal tripe from abc, then Barbara Bush is probably the 2nd daughter, not the first.

Is abc the msm source that tried to push the fake Bush reserve papers on us? I suggest that Jenna may well have been born first, hence Barbara would be the 2nd Daughter.

A. The Bush twins in the military... isn't this a DUmmie argument? They aren't going to send the Bush girls to Iraq because having them there would further endanger their unit and all American troops there.

B. It wasn't like Barbara got extra drunk and was stumbling out of a bar before her purse got snatched. It seems like she was eating dinner with friends in Argentina (a relatively safe country). She probably put her purse under the table while at dinner and it got lifted very quickly. When I was in Spain a few years back, I left my passport in a cab, which I guess makes me a delinquent as well.

WTF? Liberals are pretty lame to call one of the twins getting her purse stolen an act of "wreaking havoc in Latin America".

Across America, normal families of rich white people are heading home to celebrate our victory over the savage Indians with a commemorative feast

My God, Liberals must be absolutely miserable to be around. I'm glad I am not friends with any.

He was sitting in the lounge of the Empire Hotel
He was drinking for diversion
He was thinking for himself
A little money riding on the Maple Leafs
Along comes a lady in lacy sleeves
She says let me sit down
You know, drinkin' alone's a shame
It's a shame it's a crying shame
Look at those jokers
Glued to that damn hockey game
Hey honey-you've got lots of cash
Bring us round a bottle
And we'll have some laughs
Gin's what I'm drinking
I was raised on robbery

I'm a pretty good cook
I'm sitting on my groceries
Come up to my kitchen
I'll show you my best recipe
I try and I try but I can't save a cent
I'm up after midnight cooking
Trying to make my rent
I'm rough but I'm pleasin'
I was raised on robbery

We had a little money once
They were pushing through a four lane highway
Government gave us three thousand dollars
You should have seen it fly away
First he bought a '57 Biscayne
He put it in the ditch
He drunk up all the rest
That son of a bitch
His blood's bad whiskey
I was raised on robbery

You know you ain't bad looking
I like the way you hold your drinks
Come home with me honey
I ain't asking for no full length mink
Hey, where you going
Don't go yet
Your glass ain't empty and we just met
You're mean when your loaded
I was raised on robbery

And you would consider that to be punishment?

Well, if they were assigned to guard Gov. Brian Schweitzer, it would be, but he has MT State Policemen for his bodyguards (the bodyguards that he promised in his campaign he would never have when he was mocking the former GOP governor for taking on a bodyguard after 9/11...)

i also read the posts at the abc blog. most of these liberals seem like extremely bitter, unhappy people. where was this tremendous outcry when chelsea went to oxford and had ss protection?

"Was Michael Richards involved?"

Yes. He blamed the president for animosity between people of all nations.

Rest assured, Kramer has taken a solemn oath that he will get to the bottom of this.

Ah... there's the actual story. We've gone from a "robbery" to a "purse snatch" (a form of strong-arm robbery), and finally we have the truth, it was a theft.

Not quite as big a headline as a robbery, though, and not as big an indictment of the competence of her protective detail, so naturally when ABC broke the story they went for the hyped version.

MSM bias... a neverending gift.

I'm not even sure I'd call it a 'purse snatching', which in many areas means actually wrestling the purse away from the victim. This was apparently more like a simple sneak-theft of a purse that had been put down somewhere.

Thanks for the link. Just a great reminder of why I never hang out with leftists and libs. Why must their conservations so quickly descend into pointless idiocy? Is thoughtful, intelligent conversation such a difficult concept?

I wonder if the idiot who robbed her even knew who she was...wait until he finds out...

I'll bet there are a lot of bad guys he can sell its contents to for a good price.

Seriously, do you really think many people
are going to read a 15000+ word post?

"I thought it was pretty good."

Notice I did not say "no one " would read it and
I said nothing about the content of the article.
It was the long scroll that I felt made it less likely
to be read.
Question:
Had you read the article from a link instead
of a post would it have been better, not as good or
about the same?

Back in WWII Franklin Roosevelt's sons served in the military. You'd think, in the war on terror, the president's children could do the same if they wanted.
