I live 20 miles South of Cleveland and travel routinely through the state. Yes, there is agriculture, but is very mechanicanized. I guess I should have made it a little more clear. We moved from agrarian economy to an industrialized one at the turn or the century, hence the labor force reduction.
Manufacturing is traveling along the same course, utilizing advanced machine tools producing much more per man hour. That was my point.
