Fox has a local reporter on the phone saying there is now gunfire being heard at the office of another minister who is Gemayel's ally.
They said Gemayel has been opposing Hezbollah's push for a role in the Lebanese government.

Lebanon is in the throes of a political storm pitting the anti-Syrian ruling majority against the pro-Damascus opposition No - it will pit the muslims against everyone else who doesn't want to live under sharia law...

And the s*** just keeps on coming. The Syrians are riding high and Hezbollah, too.
I wonder if the they see election results as inspiration for their actions.
God help us because they are all running interference for the Iranaian nuke program.
I guess at this point Israel is the only nation willing and or able to do something about that.
They have their own problems, though, with peacenik Peretz as Defense Minister, Hamas, Hezbollah and Syrians can't stop laughing.

Now would be a very good time for the Israelis to start hitting Hezbo in the south again.
But that would take ba$$s, something the Olmert government doesn't seem to have.
Is Aoun still kissing Hezbo butt? Or will he see the light now?

The assassination of Bashir Gemayel 25 years ago was the leading cause of the attack on Sabra and Shatilla.

Gear up Christian Soldiers because this may go down as one for the books. Had Olmert not been calling the shots Israel could have finished the Hezbos off and this may not have been a problem now.

Just like we are being urged to do now in Iraq, the Syrians need to be including in the Lebanese peace process to help in seeking a "solution". After all, if Syria has a place at the table, everybody can all talk reasonably together and negotiate a Grand Bargain, right?... Right?? /s
