Apparently, these dudes are given immunity to a lot of our laws. Most drive around in unregistered, uninsured cars with fake driver's licenses. If you get into an accident with one, you had better have uninsured driver coverage or else you are stuck. If they are injured they get free medical care. If they are uninjured, they just pull out their cell phone and call a friend to come pick them up.

They sure as Hell aren't going to jail but you or I would.

Well, we have drivers from the north also who get involved in accidents with no consequences. A local lady was rammed by a semi from Canada. Promises to pay all bills etc. were made, she finished therapy etc. submitted the bills and nothing is done. This is Canada with 3 drivers in a truck cab. The sheriff says the cab stinks and the drivers stink, they don't bathe for who knows how long. Drive 24 hours taking shifts to drive and sleep in that cab. Won't hold my breath until this lady gets her bills paid. Plus a totaled car.
