A quick check only indicates these conditions in Indiana: "A license is valid for six years if issued to those ages 18 to 75, three years if issued to those ages 75 to 85, and two years if issued to those ages 85 and up."

A 2004 article says, Indiana dropped a road test requirement for older drivers in 1998 after its Bureau of Motor Vehicles decided it didn't have the authority to single out older Hoosiers.

It's anyone's guess what the requirements were prior.

the "requirements" were are how many elderly people go to the polls polls each election season
