Madame Royal is NOT a serious candidate, and apparently has lost the confidence of her own party, as well as having little better than no chance of gaining the primier post she seeks.

With the "yoots" burning, rampaging and pillaging M.Sarkozy seems to be a shoe in.
The UK has long cast a jaundiced eye on the "froggies" and generally neither like or seem able to abide them for very long. That they (the UK) needs to make a choice of blonde or brunette is patently foolish on it's face and a fiction used as jounalistic filler by the Daily Mail(the UK's MSM)

Don't be too sure. Sarkozy is advocating tough medicine. Royal is offering pleasant platitudes. The French have voted for the latter before.
