God hears our prayers. I can testify to that. My 70 year old mother has been battling cancer since summer of '05. It was quite a sudden scare. Surgery in just a few days after diagnosis. It may encourage you that the chemo was rough but she made it through and is doing very well. We prayed so hard.

I will pray for you and your son, asking God if will make a difference and that the Great Physician will grant healing and send his Holy Spirit to bring peace to you all.

I don't want to write a book, but we got into herbal stuff somewhat and I feel like it helped her. She pushed herself physically a little bit (when possible) during chemo, and I think that helped her get back on her feet faster. A relative who is an RN with a Masters degree tried to tell me she would 'never' regain her strength.... but she did because God blessed and because she persisted.

I just pray all goes well for you all. Keep fighting. You might tell your son as I told my mom, "All those people like Lance Armstrong who beat cancer had one thing in common." She said "What" I replied "They wanted to." Keep fighting the good fight.

May God Bless
