"Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; praying at the same time for us as well, that God may open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; in order that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak."
This, as you know is Paul's epistle to the Colossians, Chapter 4, verses 2~4. The Apostle Paul had been imprisoned for his faith. Your son, in his own way, probably feels imprisoned right now. I will pray for him that he, too, will see the Lord's purpose for his suffering just as the apostle prayed for the Lord to reveal His purpose in Paul's suffering.
His prayers were answered. Our prayers, here, for your son, will be answered too. May He hold you and your family in the hollow of His Hands as you goes through this valley.
Nancee
Beautiful prayer Nancee.
While I can't express my prayer in the beautiful words you have exemplified, I to will be praying for this young man and his family.
God can even understand our moans, and groans when we aren't able to pray.
When our congregation prays for the sick this evening, I shall put your son's name forward. Our thoughts are with your family.
