More than two years ago, I asked for your prayers for my son, who was undergoing treatment for a malignant brain tumor. His treatment at the time, though physically brutal, was successful. However, Austin's cancer has returned, and he will be going back into radiation and chemo soon - he had surgery last week.
This is so hard - he pretty much missed Middle School with this, and now here goes High School. Pray for him to enjoy college...
We will very much appreciate all of your prayers. Thanks you.

Lovely!!!
With heartfelt prayers and lots of ((((HUGS))))!!!!
BUMP!!!
It doesn't sound corny at all. As you know, cancer affects the whole family. And most family members feel soooo helpless, and wish they could "take some of the (insert anything yucky here) away." Shaving your heads is so loving and so cool...corny is the farthest thing from it.
God bless you, your family and especially Austin this Christmas eve.
Thanks for the ping back, Nancee :)
Today is Christmas, 2006, and I am praying, as is recorded in the Gospel of Luke, "And it came to pass that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples." (Luke 11:1). I pray today, that the Lord will give this dear family all of the grace and strength they need to reach that place where Austin is finally free of this cancer!
God bless you and this family!

I'm sure this time of year is a bit harder to deal with, just remember what it is we celebrate.

((((HUGS)))) & Prayer & a BUMP!!!
Two and a half years ago, my brother was diagnosed with a brain tumor and given 6 months to live. He is doing remarkably well today. Don't lose hope.
Wonderful news! Your encouragement is such a blessing too!!
Continued Prayers and a BUMP!!!
Before typing this, I said a prayer for Austin, your family and his medical team. I have twin sons who are 14. I can't imagine......... My prayers will continue.
God Bless you, "Lando Lincoln"!!
Amen!!!
