More than two years ago, I asked for your prayers for my son, who was undergoing treatment for a malignant brain tumor. His treatment at the time, though physically brutal, was successful. However, Austin's cancer has returned, and he will be going back into radiation and chemo soon - he had surgery last week.
This is so hard - he pretty much missed Middle School with this, and now here goes High School. Pray for him to enjoy college...
We will very much appreciate all of your prayers. Thanks you.
Pax Christi.
Prayer Ping.............
Nancee,
No problem, take care.
Prayer Bump for Austin! God Bless!
Prayer Ping.................
He actually does not remember when Jason Garrett played for the Cowboys! He doesn't have a prediction - just hoping it's somebody who takes the team past the first round of the playoffs!
It is truly overwhelming, and we are very grateful. I only wish there were more updates to post, but the truth is, most days, most weeks, it is just drudgery and perseverance.
Hello there dear; we have been praying for you here, and are so glad to see you again. Yes, it is so much drudgery and perseverance, isn't it? It seems like all the finest things in life are that way...
Cutting diamonds takes just a little tap at a time, and so it is with many of the great tasks we all must face. It is the sparkle of grace revealed that keeps us working on. I pray that you will see the sparkle in your son's eyes, that your hands may be uplifted to the task.
Deep in the night, we will be praying for you and for Austin. You both are not forgotten; you both are beloved of God...
Yes, I am certain of this; life being what it is. Please know however, that we are in this with you:
"We must strengthen, defend, preserve, and comfort each other. We must bear one another's burdens. We must not look only on our things, but also on the things of our brother. We must rejoice together, mourn together, labor and suffer together." (John Winthrop)
We know you must be weary and long for a day when your beloved son will be completely free of this disease. We long with you. We stand with you and embrace your family with {{{{HUGS}}}}. And we are praying with you. We trust you are able to hear His still strong voice saying to you:
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)
Try your best to feel us walking through this with you inasmuch as we are able to. Know that we love your family and are praying for God's perfect will in "Austin's" precious, valuable life!! And, please wrap your arms around your son for all of us here, and give him our {{{{HUGS}}}} and our love! We pray that while weeping may endure for a night, joy cometh in the morning!!
Prayers up.........
God Bless Austin and the family.
