No, I'm huge on property rights. That's why I don't think people should be forced to sign them away as a condition of purchase.

Doesn't the seller have rights, too?

They have the right to be paid with a check that doesn't bounce. After that, no, it is no longer thier property. Renting is a different thing altogether.
