The way I found out this couple were fake is that I read their bragging on a post on a pinko sight.

What did they say?

Ooops! Speaking of Veteran's Day, also recognizing former Air Force officer and FReep sign-maker extraordinaire W04Man!

Thank you for your service!

Nothing that bares repeating, but just gloated how they were screamed at, and how poorly they were treated by Freepers.

I know you must be doubly disappointed as you face each day with a smile and an open heart.

Please do not these AZZHATS change that in you. Trust but verify is a good MO and you did that.

Soldier on.

If anyone has pics of me talking with them, you have my permission to post them. Since they are now identified as shams.

Here's Mr. Borat:

And this is Mr. and Mrs. Borat

Learn their faces good so we can easily identify them from now on.

Finally, some photos posted. Four corners of FReeping and other great photos taken by iMacMan :

FReepers and one of tgslTakoma's Mother-of-all-banners (MOAB) on the Northeast corner.

FReepers on the Southeast corner with one of Albion Wilde's great banners.

Southwest corner with another of Albion Wilde's banners.

Northwest corner with another of Albion Wilde's banners.

Car leaving WR has troops or relatives waving at FReepers, two of the four FReeper corners shown.

A lot of honks and waves to us on this night.

"Burma shave" style anti-Pinko signs greet south-bound cars before they pass the Pinkos.

Pinkos had about 12, if you include the two at the far left. I'm not sure that they are Pinkos or pedestrians
just talking to them.

I have been to Walter Reed three times in the last month because I got vision correction surgery there. I wish I would have been able to "see" you guys the last couple of times but the timing didn't work out. I will say that I did hear a few comments inside the hospital that were very thankful of the show of support from your group. Please keep it up and know that they really do appreciate it.

That bears repeating.

Thanks for your service and that of all our troops!

Hope to thank you in person someday.

Then, things got heightened. Instead of conversing, it escalated to a shouting match.

I know it's tough sometimes, talking to moonbats and remaining calm. One thing to remember is that they are often trying to make you mad and yell. Thinking of that helps me remain calm. This makes them mad.

When moonbats say crazy things to me like it's ok for terrorists to hide behind children because "they're all freedom fighters," I just think about how I'm going to write about it and try to get them to say some more! Normally, of course anyone would get mad at something like that.

Hey, I'm no super saint when it comes to moonbat confrontations. I've gotten a little upset a few times. But I try not to.

Usually if I do get mad I realize afterwards I usually forgot to pray before that protest or just before the conversation. I try to call on supernatural help from the Holy Spirit! When I do remember to pray, I find I can often speak far more logically and feel like I'm wearing an emotional "shield" which they can't penetrate. Maybe it's a spiritual shield.

I think we all know former liberals who are now conservatives. I was almost there myself when I was young. Maybe fostering a positive attitude and informing moonbats will help some come around. Even if it's not the one you're talking to, if you report their wackiness on the web, others might see it, and think 'hey, I don't want to be associated with that crazy talk!'

There are certainly some wacky parents of soldier there and even veterans. This one guy who lives in Tucson is a retired fighter jet pilot! As moonbatty as they come, his wife is a Code Pink leader. (She actually introduced Saddam apologist Eman Ahmed Khamas at a Code Pink meeting!) But that's not the weird part. Their son is an Army soldier who served in Iraq that was hospitalized at Walter Reed with a non combat illness. So that veteran must have been high fiving the Code Pink people back then as they were going in to the hospital to see his son! Not only that, the guy ran for Congress. (He lost the primary big time.)

Anyway, I recommend prayer.

Thanks for the ping! Great AAR, as always, and wonderful pictures. I can attend this wonderful FReep only in spirit (I live in CA with no plans for a visit to DC), but really appreciate what all of you do to show our support for our troops and particularly our wounded heros. God bless all of you, and God bless our courageous troops and their brave families.

Thank you for the ping Albion. You are all great! I still chuckle over how you took over the corners. Those corners should rightfully be reserved for troop supporters, and you all made it happen.

I believe that the MPD were simply on a foot patrol, or just walking to someplace on their own. They continued south on Georgia.

The "parents' were so ill-informed and handed out the stock moonbat kook conspiracy talking points that they were very hard to believe.

McCarron lied about our Gulf War veterans, so no surprise that he'd lie again about something else. He's also dumb as a rock if he thinks the election of moderate and conservative Democrats is a win for his socialist/communist agenda. If anything, the Democrat Party has been pried from the hands of the Kook Left. So his dreams of "leadership" have diminished.

I was upset that we would yell at the parents of soldiers.

They acted like they were very much fradulant, so don't be too upset. If you were to script a dialogue for a phony to use, it would have been their words verbatium.

Sick Puppies. It's not surprising, these are the people who engage in grave robbing when they use the goodwill felt towrds the fallen in their boots/crosses/readind type protests.

What was the best use of their time? The wounded or the cause?

It's very telling that their first priority was to take time to play mind games with us and THEN go visit the wounded friend of son. Typical fakers from the left. It's all about them and they'll selfishlly lay claim to the goodwill the public feels towards the troops.

I respect his son but I respect him as far as I can throw him, he a fraud no matter what.
