I actually thought along these lines in recent days, that the Republicans --- faced with big problems of public opinion and media lies on the subject of Iraq --- might have pulled a kind of political jiu-jitsu in which they take a roll on the floor in response to an enemy blow, but a roll that with follow-through that will put them back up on top, with a vengance.

The problem with this thinking is: what kind of damage can the dhimmicrats do in 2 years?

The problem is: the dhimmicrats will quite possibly embolden the Iranians to develop and USE nuclear weapons.

So though the argument of this article does have some merit (even if it is possibly a bit tongue-in-cheek), the reality is, every minute the dhimmicrats rule, all Americans are in deadly danger.

But Bush still has the power and they only have a 1 seat majority in the senate with Lieberman a cocked cannon who could tip the balance at anytime. And he will vote with us on the WOT.

I admit, a couple days after the voting I felt the same. Everything just went too smoothly .. the big wave of Republican voters didn't show up, no one contested the many voting problems, there was no fight... it just came off too easily. Maybe Rove IS that magnificient "B"... ? I don't know, but something is up.

Let's suppose, just for the sake of argument, that the Palestinians buy a nuke from the DPRK and detonate it at 31st and Broadway in Manhattan. What will happen to the Dem's chances of being reelected to ANYTHING? Over and above the fact that the military will finally be allowed to switch from a law enforcement styled response to Irag and Afghanistani resistance to a military response. A military response would entail simply pouring rifle fire at all available openings of a suspected leader's building until you can get close enough to use a flame thrower, torch the place and shoot anything that comes out, and when the flames die down, bulldoze the shell. Then, move on to the next building.... When the leadership, both secular AND religious, all sects, realize that THEY are number one on the list, I wonder how fast they will be willing to negotiate?
