The Leftist Israeli domination of the judiciary has undermined its standing in the eyes of a large part of the population, who see it as a political tool to advance the agenda of the "enlightened sector", e.g the secular elite. The courts' pro Islamist and anti-Jewish bent has heightened this perception. A time is coming when the Israeli government is no longer able to impose its will upon observant Jews. For that, it has only itself to blame.
