I belong to a Church called "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" and these same people say I'm not a Christian. They obviously have forgotten a rather central doctrine called forgiveness. Let he who is without sin cast off the first candidate. I am hopeful Newt will make his move. For whatever his failings have been, he has always been forthright with the body politic. I do not know enough about Romney, but it is equally ridiculous that these "social conservatives" or evangelicals would cast a vote against a man, regardless if his political ideals, because he isn't a member of their church. I share your dismay.

I don't know how many times it needs to be said, but here goes. Don't believe what the media tells you!! The fact that Romney is a Mormon, has absolutely NOTHING to do with why many of us won't support him. His record of leadership, or lack thereof, in MA, is why. If he cannot effectively govern one sate, how is he going to govern an entire country and it's military? He gives a whole new meaning to "roll over and beg" when it comes to taking orders from liberals. Most believe he is, in fact, another liberal from MA. The only way he is conservative is fiscally.
