To: Tulsa Ramjet

Senator Martinez is pro-life, and he strikes me as a good man. I don't agree with him everything (including how to handle illegal immigrants), but this is not a bad pick for RNC Chairman.

Well, it sounds like a done deal. I hope it all works out. Maybe we will be surprised. But him spouting all that immigration language that "it must be legal immigration", heck congress can make anything legal, like amnesty.

The hispanic vote is an issue though. We have to be careful here and not stupid. Principle can turn you into Captain Edward John Smith. Even Reagan said it was better to get half a loaf than no loaf at all. I don't have the answer here.

What qualifies him for the job though?

Is he a great fundraiser or organizer? I would think neither since I've never heard about him doing that kind of work. In fact I've never heard about him at all till now.
