Isn't it sad how we have to take into account how they will lie about what we say when we speak and are therefore afraid to speak the truth? Fox has admitted that he didn't take his meds prior to testifying before Congress in order to have a bigger impact. All Rush did was ask if he did that again this time, which is a perfectly reasonable question, particularly as part of a much larger argument.
Fox doing something like that is a legitimate tactic if he tells people that is what he's doing. It's a dishonest and reprehensible tactic if he lies about it, and keeping it a secret until years later is lying about it.
Who'd a thunk it? You and I are more cynical than Rush. The man's a veritable Pollyanna. A babe in the woods. We need to look after this poor dumb cluck. <g>
(Rush, you listening? Consult us before you say anything from now on... it will save you loads of grief)
I need to go to sleep, so I am taking myself away from this thread. However, I do think we need to look at how the face of conservatism is presented. I wish Rush would have totally avoided this issue. Actually, I also wish Michael Fox had avoided it!
