Yes. That is right. Right now, there appears to be a focus on internal politics, but the outside world is not going away. The Islamic fascists are still out there, planning. How are the Democrats going to deal with external events, aside from calling for international conferences and appeasement?
John Murtha has just been on the news, saying all troops will be withdrawn from Iraq BY THE END OF THIS YEAR. Nancy Pelosi is reported by The Hill to be supporting John Murtha for Majority Leader. Sooner or later, external realities will catch up with the Democrats.
Let them keep it up. They are going to push the envelope, if they get their way and get out of what Pelosi calls a situation in Iraq, dismantle the Patriot Act and the myriod other things they want to do to bring about a Europeanization of the USA (even follow Elton John into banning Religion, who knows how far they will try to go) they will hand the house and senate back to us on a silver platter -- provided we pick carefully and run good people against them in two years.
This is just the type mess that lead to party switches 10 or so years ago.
