I am in the same situation in Indiana...major papers are liberal. We still go GOP in the presidential elections, but we are starting to see erosion in some of the Congressional districts.
I don't know why Texas stays conservative. If you can figure it out, maybe we could ship whatever it is to the other states.

#361, the Rats have a tall guy at the Polls in each inner city precinct and hands the Voter their palm card with the names of all the Democrats to vote for,and all the Judges to vote yes on. The voters do not follow the issues, and really have no clue what or who the Demorats are putting down on these cards. They are still on the Plantation to the Rats, and they do as they are told, just like prior to the Civil War. It is very sad, and until that Community breaks away from another kind of One group Controlling them ,they will remain poor,undereducated,unhealthy,and reliant on government to solve their multitude of problems.
