The talking shows and the news programs were the worst I have ever seen, and I have been watching political news since the 60's.

However, should we get rid of all of them tomorrow, we still would have a problem, because liberalism controls academia, Hollywood, the music industry, and a fair chunk of the internet.

It is very hard to convince non-news people that your position is correct, when they know nothing of foreign affairs but their three favorite movie stars all trash Bush in every interview. About the only Republican immune from this is Arnold Schwartzenegger, because he got mega-famous before people found out he was a Republican.

Excellent post Miss Marple!
The only saving grace is that the msm is dying a slow but painful death. Their numbers are down each and every year and ours are growing.
People may seem as if they are in a malaise but once the DBM/DNC/rat paty begins to look more and more like the terrorists we are fighting even the dumbest of the dumb will start getting it, how fast is anyones guess.

The problem is that there are MANY people who seriously believe in this day and age the "newspaper" is still the better source of information to the internet.

They are the same class of people who would scream "buy a house" when their horse and buggy would pass a broke automobile in the early days.

The MSM in this election reminds me of an old silent film where a horse beats one of the first automobile. The people still flocked to the automobile and the winning horse rider was left confused.

Regarding your 21, I'm in total agreement, but there is something else I wish I could explain. Here in Texas, all the major newspapers are liberal, we receive the same TV/radio news as the rest of the country, and we're a conservative state, except for little enclaves here and there. Any theories???

I agree with you Miss Marple. All these have to be addressed and taken to task when events require it.

You are right. I wonder if we did a one on one campaign to educate our friends and family who are at least minimally open to an alternative to the libs.

This Russert love fest is so disgusting my doggie is threatening to puke if I don't turn it off!
