I watched the first 10 mins of the NBC national news, and this poll was one of the lead stories. The whole purpose of the Democrat media is to make sure we are out of Iraq before 2008. They know Hillary has no prayer of being elected in wartime conditions. Of course, if the Republican candidate doesn't shout from the housetops the utter failure of the first Clinton administration in fighting Islamofascism, then they deserve to get stomped and thumped by Queen Hillary.

The whole purpose of the Democrat media is to make sure we are out of Iraq before 2008.That, plus they want Bush impeached. They'll bite their tongues for now while the post-election happy-talk goes on, but soon they'll demand to see some action on that front. They know that right now there's not enough support from the public for impeachment, so they'll try to drum up that support by pounding Bush completely into the ground. Once they can start pushing polls that show his approval in the mid-20's, the impeachment talk will start for real.

If it's McCain you can rest assured a word won't be uttered about Clinton's failures on security.... heck, Nancy Pelosi already stated this week that this isn't a war, it's a "situation." Did you see even one Republican come out and criticize her comment?

You make one of the best points I have heard in a long time. You are right! The Dims want us out NOW so Hildy can have a prayer in '08.

I'm not sure that's true. Given the fact that "wartime conditions" didn't stop voters from ousting Republicans this week - in fact, Iraq was a big reason the GOP lost - if we're not out by 2008, the GOP could take another hit at the polls.
