By the way, what is up with this Eid holiday? This is the first year I've been hearing about it.

It's a Muslim holiday. Some people thought it was weird because it was "die" spelled backwards; also some people protested the "Eid" stamps put out by my employer, the Postal Service. It was originally issued 10 days before 9/11...
