Among Democrats, I view Lieberman, Nelson of Nebraska, Boren of Oklahoma and whole slew of Blue Dogs as center-right. Even Webb of Virginia may end up fitting this position.
My hope is that Comrade Pelosi will so antagonize the non-Mooonbat Left of her party that some of these Democrats will either change party or form a coalition in the House and Senate with Republicans so as to strip Comrades Pelosi and Reid of their leadership slots.
Lieberman: lifetime ACU rating --- 17%
Nelson --- 53%
Boren --- 64%
Thanks....
Giuliani, I like. McCain, I despise. If the Republican party gives me McCain as the choice, I honestly don't know what I'll do. Not because of his politics.....because of him personally.
Lieberman is 'center-right'? Your opinions are too infantile to discuss.
Arnold took a beating in the propositions, and since then has governed as a liberal democrat. He has expanded the state government and violated every conservative principle.
If the republicans followed your advice, I'd never vote republican again.
In spite of what you say, Pelosi didn't win. She couldn't even be found in the days running up to the election.
Left-leaning independents showed up to vote, motivated by the war in Iraq and the perception of corruption. Right leaning independents didn't show up because republicans did nothing to motivate them. As a result, democrats won about 51% of the turn out.
