Our current estimate of illegal aliens in Nebraska is about 30,000. The entire population of Nebraska is about 1 million. It used to be somewhat larger, but the taxes in this state are driving people away in droves. I retired and moved to Ne. because my daughter is here, butI am still shocked by the taxes here. I'm thinking about moving out of here.
I sometimes go to a bigger town to shop and Wally-world and Home Depot are filled with illegals(you can just tell).
Taxes are high and these people here don't say squat. I'm just surprised.

Don't let the OBLers run you out. Report these businesses repeatedly until something is done. Have you neighbors and friends call. And report them here and then call the business and let them know you have reported them:

Taxes are high and these people here don't say squat. Worse yet, every time there's a referendum to cap state spending, the sheep vote it down! It's almost as though they demand to be punished. I guess the slave DOES learn to love the lash.

I think the reason so few people say anything about taxes in Nebraska is because they've lived here most or all their lives and have no other low-tax state with which to compare it.
There was a time when Nebraska was a "white state." We had no state income tax. Now look at us.
