I was almost as shocked by Osburne's loss as I was for Bud Wilkinson's loss around 1956 in a Senate bid

I certainly hope so and I will be helping to campaign against him in the Grand Island area. I also told him this in an email I sent to him when he was trying to tell Israel that they shouldn't defend themselves. Funny, but I never got even an automated response from his office.

Who you gonna run against him? I have two grandsons in NE that would make better senators than Hagel. Heck, I even have two little great grandsons in NE would would make better senators than Hagel.

Don't apologize. Just find a replacement who understands what Nebraskans want. Free Hagel from his duties and see if he can get a real job like the rest of us.
