I also voted. I really hate what's about to happen...but at the same time, we were being crapped on by the party in charge so I really am having a hard time being mad at anyone BUT the republican party. I just wish someone could have come up with another response that would have gotten the message across to them so this wouldn't have happened. But no one seemed to know how to get their attention. And they seemed determined not to listen, anyway. We The People only have the vote to do that with. And now it's bitten us in the ass. What a mess. Out of everything, I guess the three things that stand out that almost made me stay home were...
1...Immigration
2...Hastert declaring that they were ALL above the law.
Guess I was holding out hope that with a little effort, most of the issues could be worked out but when # 2 happened, I knew it was a lost cause.
I really agree with you here, but still, it will be nice to have a few self-righteous "I told you so's" at the stay-at-homers' expense.
The complaints are numerous. I think common ground should be sought.
Preview is also our friend....out of the TWO things...not three.
