Now that I think about it, this soldier was flipping off the bastard who shot him.
Upon further thought, the bastard who shot him is not much different than the majority of the media, who also snipe at our soldiers regularly.

I am in the middle of reading the Vanity Fair article about the Marines who are charged with murder in Haditha. My blood is boiling not just at the article but what our government has done to these heroes. They keep sending young men to fight guerrilla warfare with conventional methods and then want to persecute our heroes. It's disgusting! All I have to say is that those Marines better be acquitted.

The one I was thinking of had a bunch of guys taking what looked like a short break, sitting on the ground, and one guy had his hand grasping the front left side of his helmet as he looked down and away from the photographer, his middle finger was extended up the side of his helmet.
Unmistakable, there.
I detest the media in all of its forms.
