WASHINGTON (AP) GOP officials say Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman will step down from his post in January.
Newt is great. One thing they should focus on is finding people who can speak and persuade people. Newt is one of the finest in that area.
I believe Ken was married?
I'm sure there are some "closet" Democrats that can be "outed" too.
Bigtime baggage. He needs to stick to doing analysis and making speeches. We don't need a candidate whose personal resume reads like Bill Clinton's.
And Steele loves puppies.
(See that ad he did rebutting one of the attack ads? Saw it on Hume, and it was great!)
And I don't want to catch anybody not drinking, or mistreating the Abos if anyone is watching.
I heard Bill Maher likes to have girls in high heels kick him in the jimmy. But then again, who doesn't!
Newt can also give a good speech and would be a great draw for GOP Fund Raisers.
A tactician and strategist I could see him formulating a platform and journey to victory. Tony Blankley would be a good ally for him, in this journey, from some of Blankley's comments in the past, I get the impression Newt can go in to many directions at once.
A day late and a dollar short.
You mean "a day late and a three-dollar bill short."
Bets over here are Karl, by Monday
If Newt won't do it, Steele is my second choice. When this was brought up earlier, I liked the idea of Steele and I was thinking that Newt wouldn't take the job, but if you think about it, it would be perfect. It's kind of his calling.
Well Bill would know. He probably recognized him from the rest stop bathroom.
I thought he was married?
The reason Mehlman is leaving is to head up Rudy Gulianni's presidential campaign, something Rudy near all but acknowledged earlier this week.
BINGO!!! He doesn't need anyone to SHOW him how to win big, he's done it. And he is so damn good at articulating our positions and not taking crap from the media. His skin is thick.
I'll say it again... Viva la Class of '94!
LMAO!!!
Oh, that's going to win over the social conservatives, NOT!!!!
