I spoke with Kristinn, still in Iraq, this evening. He said he took almost 700 photos (I told him to take as many as he could, because the #$#&! MSM will never show us the real Iraq), and others in the delegation have taken alot of photos as well. He said that the trip has been an eye-opening experience, and he is angry that the media is completely ignoring the positive changes that have taken place, and the continued progress at rebuilding that is going on there.
If you guys have blogs, consider writing about this trip on your blog. The truth has to get out; and we can't count on Katie Couric to do it.
P.S. As I write this, I am looking at a BIG Ziploc bag of leftover Halloween candy that I tried to convince Kristinn to take with him - to give to the kids there. He only had a carry-on bag and it was packed to near bursting, so he left it behind.
Well, there's always next time, God willing.
We're going to be going back next year!!
Thanks for the ping! If Kristinn is using film, his carry-on must have been crammed with film cannisters! NEXT time--pencils and erasers are light and don't take up much room. . . . Way to go MoveForward!!
Get the Iraqis addresses and send it to them. You might want to get in touch with Operation Iraqi Children, the foundation that actor Gary Sinese co-founded.
I now have time to go back and see the first 2 reports.
I can't imagine how exciting and at the same time emotionally draining this trip is for all of them. Can't wait to see ALL the photos!

Can't wait to see the photos.
Very interesting report.
So, did the Kurd forces occupy that prison since 1991 or where they subsequently kicked out again?
