Why not? Clinton changed from a "centrist" promising tax cuts on the campaign trail to a full-blown socialist raising taxes through the roof, shooting for national socialized medicine, and a huge gun ban all between November and January.

This is their method. Say whatever to get power, then go full blast with moonbat policies. Fortunately this madness on their part really galvanizes the American public.

In the meantime, hopefully W will exercise a few vetos, because it's taken us 12 years of Congressional control to undo *some* of what Bill and the 93-94 Dim congress did.

You'll have to forgive me, I generally believe people can actually learn from experience. In the case of the Democrats, that rule does not apply.
