Gun control on the Federal level, will never be passed. Not until a bunch of us have passed away.
From my cold dead fingers..is not just an olde tyme saying, wonder if the government would like to find that out?
Oh please, it already has been, starting with the National Firearms Act of the 1930s, moving on to the Gun Control Act of 1968, the machine gun *ban* of the otherwise laudable Firearms Owners Protection Act (although "shall not be infringed" should be all the "protection" we need from the likes of Charlie Rangel), the Brady Act and the now departed but soon to re vivid (with a Sniper Rifle provision!) Assault Weapons Ban.
