I try very hard to not buy anything from China from any retailer, but it gets harder by the day because many American brand products are now made there. I do not blame WalMart for GE making it's small kitchen appliances in other countries, including China, anymore than I blame Target or K-MArt or any other retailer for where the manufacturers build their products.

Singling out WalMart for selling products made in China is just as bad as saying everything they sell is made in China (not directed at you personally). Retailers have to meet the demands of their customers or else they go out of business. Retailers rely on manufacturers to produce the products demanded by their customers.

I guess what I'm trying to say is the retailer becomes low man on the totem pole when it comes to where they can get the products to fill their shelves and the blame is misdirected when it is pointed at the retailers.

I have had no problem shopping at WalMart through the years and I like the way you are treated the moment you walk through the doors. With that said I do check where things are made. And if it says made in China, it goes back on the shelf. Its hard not to buy any foreign products but I do make an effort to keep it down to a minimum. Christmas decoration made in China really gets to me, considering ALL the religious freedoms China has. (Sarcasim implied)

I will do more shopping at Wal-Mart if what I read about them using the term Merry Christmas this season is true.
